Blood Orange Margaritas

South African Smoke and Garlic Stuffed Challah* MaMenu Original

Dough @chaya deitsch

4 1/2 tbsp yeast

4 cups water

3 eggs

1 1/2 cup oil

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 tbsp salt

approx 5 lbs flour (start with 3/4 of it, and add as needed)

Let rise for 1 hour.


Make rub of chopped garlic and South African smoke (or sub for smoked paprika and salt) and parlsey flakes.

Spread a thin layer of oil on each flattened braid, sprinkle above mixture, roll and braid. Rise for 20 min. and bake.

Sundried Tomato Hummus Recipe

Leek and Scallion Dip* MaMenu Original

1 leek, sliced (white and pale green parts)

5 scallions, sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

12 oz sour cream

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp celery seed

Saute leek and scallions in olive oil until soft, but not browned. Mix it with sour cream and spices, refrigerate for 1 hour.
